Formerly for more than 30 years with ANT/BOSCH Telecom (Germany), head of the Payload and Systems Engineering Section.
He was responsible for communications analyses and repeater definitions of the OTS, ECS, INTELSAT IV, TV-SAT and DFS satellites. His responsibility included also numerous studies and proposals in the field of satellite communication systems and satellite payloads as well as technical monitoring and support activities.
He undertook also active consultancy services for EUTELSAT W24, NAHUEL and many other satellite projects to industry and satellite system operators.
As consultant he was also responsible for the preparation of Invitation to Tender documents for satellite-based WAN systems together with the related proposal evaluations and assessments.
Wolfgang Grassmann

Today, he is the AUDENS Telecommuni-cations Managing Director.
Wolfgang Grassmann is in the satellite business since 1986. Formerly he was employed at ANT, DETECON and IABG, all headquartered in Germany. Long experience in the management of large national and international satellite projects (MSS, FSS and DBS).
He supported domestic satellite programmes during launch and LEOP phases and planned and installed earth stations incl. its associated network infrastructure.
Several years experience in Business Development for Teleport satellite services.
Conducted satellite communications system bid evaluations and preparations for Intelsat, German domestic systems, EUTELSAT, ARABSAT, NAHUELSAT and other international commercial and military programmes.
Herbert Schuff

Today, he is the AUDENS Telecommuni-cations Technical Director. Formerly 5 years with ANT/BOSCH Telecom (Germany). Expert in the Payload and Systems Engineering Section of ANT/BOSCH Telecom. Specialist on payload design and communication analyses. Involved in overall system design activities, preparation of repeater proposals, detailed analyses in the frame of projects (ARTEMIS, SILEX etc.) and other studies. From 1995 to 2000 AUDENS Telecommunications consultant to Aerospatiale/Alcatel Space for THAICOM-3, SIRIUS 2 and other projects. Responsible Sub-System Manager for Ka-band repeater on ASTRA 1K during design and procurement phases. Provided services to EUTELSAT for repeater follow-up on EUROBIRD, HOT BIRD 6 and NEW BIRD satellite projects. In his capacity, he provided also services to Swedish Space Corporation during the preparation of the SIRIUS 4 satellite programme.
